Last night we joined the thousands who already had bought a HDTV, as we finally purchased one. We watch so little television that it was a toss up as to get one. The big problem in replacing the old one is that the 5th wheel was build with the old TV in mind, so now Jim has a little cabinetry job to do. I asked him if he could actually make it look like it was built for the new television and he said, "MaryAnn of course I can." Now that is scary, but will see what he comes up with. The new TV fits width wise but is about eight inches shorter in height than the old one. This new one is so skinny it hardly takes up any room all all so we will have a bit more storage room behind it. Room for more stuff we don't need.
This has been a kind of do nothing day. We went to church and just did not do much at all today. For sure we did not go any place that required driving.
We were just vegging listening to the guy across the street wash and wax the motorcoach for Don and Sarah when Jim suggested we talk to the man to see if he could wash the 5th wheel. He said yes and we now have a squeaky clean unit. It was only 101 here today so the man said it was not bad at all. I can't imagine waxing in that heat but he really did not seem to have any trouble. Did a nice job washing our 5th wheel that's for sure.
Don and Sarah came over to see if we wanted to go out for pizza tonight but we had already planned on having fish for dinner, so we declined. They are the dancing couple across the street. Very nice people.
Tomorrow friends Pam and Bill are arriving so that will be cause for celebration. They are just down the street about a hundred feet away. We just have not seen many people out walking at all. Way to hot.
