Found out today that every Thursday at 8:30am they have a coffee/donuts time so residents can be brought up to date on coming events for the week. We missed it! When 9:00am rolled around I was there for line dancing which lasted for two hours and by eleven I was almost crawling out of the hall. Actually I was dripping so could have floated out. After LD Pam and I went to quite a few RV Resorts to see if she could get into their 'country store.' Most Resorts have these and they are open for about four hours a couple of times a month. She sells a product called 'Scentsy' and wants to be able to sell it at the country stores. While we were out we got a call that the Steak Fry for tonight was changed into an Octoberfest and they were having real German food. We thought it over and decided since we are going to an Octoberfest next week we would cancel on this one.
So we really have not done much since then. We did run to a store called Sprouts and bought six one inch pork chops for our cookout tomorrow so we are all set for that. Friends Mel and Joanna will be here hopefully by then. If they aren't we may have to wait until Sat. for the cookout.
Just another quiet day here in Mesa but a really hot day! We did sign up for a class so will see how that goes. Will let you know. Til later
