From Wakefield, Wi to Menahga, MN

More rain this morning.  The blue job guy (Jim) was just as wet today as yesterday.  A friend of ours always talked about the blue jobs and the pink jobs.  I am pleased to announce that the pink jobs for me are the inside jobs.....which are out of the rain.  You guessed it the blue jobs are Jim's and they are the outside jobs.

Blue line = route today

The Alpine Campground we stayed at last night is one we most likely will cross off our bucket list.  Every little thing was an add on.   By that I mean sewer, TV, and electric for a/c was all extra.   But anyway we left fairly early and drove in the rain for about two hours.  The entire day was very dark and overcast so other than a pic or two I was what you might call, rained out.

I had to take another look at this building because
the entire front of this building is a painting.

Driving thru Duluth, MN proved to be quite an adventure. Our entire route thru that area was under construction with only one lane open with those cement barriers on both side of the lane. We were thinking how nice it was that the rain had stopped.

Statue of Paul Bunyan
Driving on our way to see our friends Betty and Dan McCorry we ran across this huge statue of Paul Bunyan in the town of Akley, MN.  Once past old Paul we arrived at Betty and Dan's home where we will be until early Sat. morning.  They have the most darling little granddaughter.

Hi, my name is McKenna
Was a rather relaxing day other than the day being so overcast.
