Day 1 - (8-20-12) - The Trip

"The Trip"....... Starts Today.

We have the car packed and are on our way to Wisconsin where we will meet up with Mike and Judy.

Can you tell we use tote bags...No I am not a bag lady...

In addition to those eight totes we have a large suitcase, a large garment bag, a printer, car wax, picnic items and lots of travel books all in that one tiny trunk.....and we still have room for more. 

We are now stopped for the night near the Illinois and Wisconsin border so tomorrow will be a short driving day for us.  Traffic near Chicago was beyond terrible.



Mike and Judy actually left Sunday but only got as far as the upper peninsula where they stopped for the night.  They said it was to see the Soo Locks, but I know Judy really well, and I know they have a casino there.  What do you want to bet that was their real destination.  I'm a little worried that we might have to fund this entire trip if she doesn't get out of that casino fast.  Happy Anniversary Mike and Judy!!

'Hello' I'm Judy                and             I'm Mike 

For those of you who don't know us, we live right behind Jim and MaryAnn at Gulf View RV Resort in Punta Gorda, FL.  Well that is from January thru April of each year.

For those of you who don't know us we live right in front of Mike and Judy at Gulf View RV Resort in Punta Gorda, FL.  We've been friends for at least five years.

We will attempt to provide you with a bit of factual information for each location we stop at while on "The Trip."  And of course we will for sure fill you in on our day to day happenings which will be 'somewhat factual.'  Let's all hope Judy doesn't try any more manifold cooking.....
